Welcome to Meeva ("the App", "the Service"), a phone cleaner and storage optimization application developed by Meva. This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, used, and protected when you use the Service.

1. Information We Access

1.1 Device Storage Access

Meeva requires access to your device storage in order to scan junk files, duplicate files, large videos, temporary cache data, and unused media files.

• Cache and temporary files
• Duplicate photos and videos
• Large media files
• Downloaded files
• Unused APK files

All file scanning and analysis is performed locally on your device. Your personal files are not uploaded to our servers.

1.2 Device Performance Data

The App may access technical device information such as:

• Available storage space
• Total storage capacity
• RAM usage information
• Battery health and usage statistics (if supported)
• Device model and Android version

This information is used only to provide cleaning suggestions and optimize device performance.

2. How We Use Information

• To detect junk and unnecessary files
• To identify duplicate photos/videos
• To help free up storage space
• To improve app performance and stability
• To provide personalized cleaning recommendations

3. Data Processing

All cleaning operations and file analysis are performed locally on your device. We do not store, collect, or transfer your personal files such as photos, videos, documents, or contacts.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising.

• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Google AdMob

These services may collect anonymous device identifiers, crash logs, and advertising IDs in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Google Account & Gmail Access

Meeva may allow users to sign in securely using their Google account through Google OAuth authentication.

If the user explicitly grants permission, the App may access Gmail data for the sole purpose of providing inbox cleaning and email management features.

• Display emails for user review
• Identify unnecessary, old, or promotional emails
• Allow users to select emails manually
• Delete or move selected emails to trash upon user request

Access to Gmail is performed only after the user's explicit consent. No email content, attachments, sender information, or account credentials are stored, transferred, sold, or shared with third parties.

All Gmail operations are performed securely through Google's official APIs and only for the functionality requested by the user.

Users may revoke Gmail access at any time through their Google Account security settings.

6. Permissions

Meeva may request the following permissions:

• Storage / Files Access: Required for junk and duplicate scanning
• Photos & Videos Access: Required for duplicate media detection
• Usage Access (if enabled): For app usage analysis and cleaning suggestions

7. Data Security

Since all file processing is local, your files remain on your device. We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect app-related diagnostic data.

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 years old.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
